Well I received my new Spot Hogg, Right On, Large Guard,k .019 pins with Hogg Wrap sight today. I love the fit and finish of this sight. I can't wait to shoot it. It has a sticker on the pin set screws to make sure the "turret screws are tight before shooting". I fooled around with it for awhile but I want to make sure I get this right. Please help a dumba$$ make sure he is using the correct screws to adjust and which ones to tighten up when done adjusting. You would think it would be obvious but it isn't (to me). There are a set of four screws on the left. Then a set of 6 screws in the middle. Followed by a set of 5 on the right which I am sure move each pin left and right. Also here are some updated pics of my rig as it sits right now. I ordered new strings tonight so they should be here in a week or so.
Ahhhhh, I see said the blind man. Q: I know that the individual sight pins are micro-adjustable, but how exactly do you adjust them individually? A: Each pin is individually adjusted both vertically and horizontally. For vertical adjustment: There are two identical set screws located at the end of each pin. To move up & down you loosen one set screw and tighten the other. This will rotate (similar to pivoting) the pin up or down. To adjust horizontally you turn the small silver, button head allen screw at the end of the pin. This screw is spring loaded so turning clockwise will shorten the pin and turning counter-clockwise will lengthen the pin.
