After watching todays show, I was just curious what everybody uses or what sounds they make to stop a yote in their tracks. We have quite a few here in Mich. and just want to know the best tactic to use when i see one in the woods. Thanks in advance.
I learned the hard way that "MEH" is not a good option :D He left his fur behind he took off so fast :D I have actually called in a fox with extended kiss type sounds...
yeah the kiss noises work and I have mehed really lightly a couple times and that seems to sometimes do the trick. Heck I have yelled hey before when one was booking and that got it to stop.
