If he got it he (the original poster) would have had them on after the the first video he asked for feedback on. I am concerned about their safety however if they choose not to wear one then so be it. However, if they are going to start a video production and sharing with the general public then they absolutely must wear a harness in every video hunting from a tree.

You must present yourself as a roll model for new, young, and seasoned hunters! How bad would you feel if you influenced someone in the wrong way which caused their death?

Posts like this is not going to make some one wear a harness or not. If there not smart enough to wear one from the beginning there not going to learn untill a close call. Or even worse... i agree with u guys 100% they come with every tree stand so if u can afford a bow and a tree stand well there ya go you have a harness.

I bet he will be wearing a harness and it will be because of the feedback that he got here and probably anywhere else that he posted the video.

Always cool to see real hunt videos and I didn't even notice the lack of harnesses.

Footage was great and loved the last 1:20min with the music. Looks like you're making it for a TV show and you guys don't seem look like you like it at all:) Seems like your Dads said you had to hunt that day and you had to make a video:)

Try maybe downing a beer afterwards and try you guys just sitting and talking about the hunt with each other in front of the camera. Natural, cut up a little, show the emotions that get in a tree. Also in the woods with trees in the back ground could be cool. Maybe you guys just sitting on a log or on the leaves. We love the woods to.

Cool video though. Keep it up.

Oh yeah, I'd photoshop same safety harnesses into your videos.

I know it's a change of subject but what's ur thoughts on this situation. Last evening shot a buck last light11yds. Heard the thud the deer jumped then walked threw the field in front of me and down the other side where he bedded down. I left him till this morning hoping to find him but he was gone from his bed and left behind chucky looking blood and clear foam. What's ur thoughts?

My personal thoughts, and this is just from past experiences so please no one freak out over this. This is a touchy subject because it could easily have gone both ways..... The first being that you hit him in the muscle, probably shoulder bladed him, he bedded down and the wound healed. He could be more than fine right now. Deer are unbelievable tough and can get through a lot. The other being that you gut shot him, he bedded down while the wounds closed, ran off and died somewhere else. If you have found several beds with blood the deer is most likely dead. But if you have only found the one bed and no blood following, I think that he has survived. Not knowing a lot about the entire situation, that would be my guess.

Where did the arrow enter the deer at? Label a picture with a dot or something?

This really solid advice. The coyote and hunter shots were the only thing that stands out when watching the videos

    Act like you enjoy hunting!

Definitely transition music a little better.

    Overall it's very good!

Great B roll is a beautiful thing. Don't be afraid to add more in. Put it in the beginning, middle, and end.

Drop the camera guy's stand a foot or two. Or lower the camera arm.

good video! I'm not going to keep beating the bush. everyone else has done it. if you want to hunt the way you do go for it. this is America make the decisions you want. I used to produce hunting videos and there will always be critics out there. I am not saying they are wrong with what they are saying. just be ready for backlash when you go public with stuff. just strive to be better with every outing. good luck!

I am a little shocked that they have camera equipment but not safety harnesses. But overall it was very well put together. :tu:
