I have not doubt that with enough practice one pin can be accurately used. Gap shooting has been around for centuries. It started with archers using the tip of their arrow as an aiming point. It doesn't work well for me though. I didn't mean to make it sound like it was my way or the highway. Just trying to share how my brain works with my multiple pins. To each their own.

I just thought you were overlooking that. Sorry.
I'm with ya on the multiple pin.

I switched to an HHA and won't look back. Love the .010 pin as well, aim small miss small! I really like being able to set my sight in on one spot and being able to shoot from 0-30 yards without having to think about what pin etc..... I advised my buddy to go to a single pin, which he did this year, and he is shooting tighter more consistent groups than ever before. Single pin is the way to go!

Just switched from a 4 pin apex to the HHA optimizer lite ultra a month ago. Took a little getting use to but I'm sticking with the single pin.

Its a 50/50 split for a reason. Everyone likes different things. I have killed over 50 deer with a multi pin, but switched to a HHA two years ago and have no problem continuing to kill deer. Practice hunting scenarios when practicing will help with which ever set up you use. I will be hunting in Montana for the first time this September, so maybe I will feel different after my trip out to the big country. I can practice out to 93 yards with my HHA, which has made <40 yards a chip shot. I also can leave my pin at 25 and be pretty good out to 40, but then again I'm shooting 70# Darton 3814.
