So I decided to get back into bowhunting but I am way behind on technology and read a ton of reviews on the new bows that came out in 2014. I was set on the Mathews Creed Xs but then I was ready reviews and people were saying bows like the Obssesion Evolution and Energy 32 were blowing the Creed out of the water. What are your guys experience or advice? Thanks!

Cant say I have tried the Obssesion or the Energy 32 But I do have the CreedXs and I love it! Most bows in this day and age are not bad bows it all comes down to how they shoot and feel for you ! Try a few out see what you like ! I liked the CreedXs because of its short axle to axle leangth and it felt real solid in hand and after the shot there was almost no vibration and hand shock! Since the bows so short it fits my situations perfectly ! I do allot of treestand or groundblind hunting!

Exactly what Galen said. Just need to get in the shop and shoot away. You'll know what feels right.

I have and E32, it's the best shooting bow I owned ... Well ever. Rock solid, easy shooting and no feed back.

I have shot the Elite Energy 32 and 35 and also the Obession Evolution. All of them are great bows but I ended up buying an Elite Energy 35 since I plan on shooting a lot more 3d next year. I have shot the Creed as well and wasn't impressed with it.

I bought the matthews chillx and for me it was the hands down winner. I shoot 4 or 5 other bows before I made my choice. For me it was how it felt in my hands and shot. It was the smoothest bow I shoot. But like others said it's all about personal preference.

I have a creed xs and it's my favorite out of all the bows I've owned...not the fastest bow by no means but it'll pile up anything I'll ever hunt...speed is over rated and pushed way to hard imo....bottom line is you have to shoot a bunch and buy what you like based on how it feels to you.....noone is going to know what bow is right for you but you

I have the Creed XS Love the short axle to axle
Speed doesn't bother me much because I have such a short draw length I still get full pass through shots with my Easton axis arrows
Smooth drawing bow quiet light can't ask for more

    I love my creed!
That said, I'm pretty curious about everything that bowtech is putting out these days.

Most bows are very well made these days. Just personal preference or find a good deal on one you like.

Had no plan on buying a bowtech, but found a great deal. Had a bear before. Hoyt, matthews, elite, bowtech and many others will all work well for you.

As said above, you just have to go shoot some and find the one that fits you best. You'll know it when you shoot it. My only advice would be to look at bows with a little longer ATA bow. I'm not saying that the Creed XS is not a good bow, but a longer ATA length will give you more stability when aiming, especially at longer distances.
I am a huge fan of Mathews bows, at least their solocam bows- but I just don't get the need for super short bows.
