Lookin for advice just seein if I might be doin somethin wrong. I'm new at archery and I've been target practicin for awhile now. I've sighted in my at 10, 20, and 30 yds. Problem I'm havin is at 20 im dead on, back up to 30 and I'm consistently off left, right, high, and low. If I fling one left of the bullseye the others follow suit. Same way no matter which direction I'm off. I only have this trouble at 30 yds and I know it's not my sights it's me. Any suggestions on what I may be doin wrong?

Sounds to me like you might be changing your anchor point slightly. I would say that you are torquing your bow but not being consistent like that.

I agree with jtreat. I would start by just being conscientious of form at 20 and then 30 yards. If your form is consistent, it really shouldn't matter whether you are shooting at 40, 30, or 20 yards. Keep at the practice and good luck!

It could be your form, but fundamental problems with bow tuning are amplified at larger distances. Just saying...

Yes, consistent anchor is super important! Also, are you following through with all of your shots? That is, not dropping your bow arm until your arrow contacts the target.
Using 3 reference points really helps too. Kisser to corner of mouth (anchor), tip of nose to the string, and line up peep with pin. Exact repetition on each shot is key.

Yes, ive been focusing on all those thangs and neglected my stance. My stance was off I hand my front foot slightly ahead of my back foot which was causin me to slap my arm with the string. Also i noticed that I was focusing more on the pin verses my target. I was reading where they say you should focus more on where your aiming and the arrow will follow through.

Few other ideas, make a practice of not dropping your bow until you hear a hit. If you have a friend close that also shoots have them critic your form. And lastly the best way to be dead on at 30 is to practice at 60. Those are my thoughts anyways.

I will try that, I haven't shot past 40 yds yet but I will try that and see what happens.
