Not sure what happened in the other thread but it quit letting me respond. Anyway definitely thinking it's my form, going to focus more on that and see what happens. I looked up some stuff on proper form and found a few things I was doing wrong so hopefully today goes better.

Also don't forget to make a crisp release and keep aiming until after the arrow hits the target.

Thanks! Been makin changes and seein a huge improvement. Workin on that one as well, I tend to slap the release sometimes which causin me to jerk the bow slightly to the left so I've been workin on smooth movements and letting it surprise me

Keep at it. There are so many little things that can help you develop as a shooter. Nice to see you taking the initiative to become a better shot.

So just an update, still gettin positive results but ain't got to shoot much this week, been a really busy week and it's been rainin alot here. Plannin to spend the day shootin tomorrow. Got a question for y'all though, when lookin through your peep do y'all keep both eyes open or do y'all close one? Curious of how everyone does it.

I shoot with both eyes open. It is much easier to see in low light conditions. If you are right handed and right eye dominant I would try both open.

I've always shot with one eye closed till my husband made a point about bein able to get on target easier with both eyes open and to be able to see surroundin area as well. I'm practicin keepin both eyes open it's just hard to keep it focused and not go double on me

Both eyes open, greater light and more stability. When I started I would shoot with only one contact in so that while having both eyes open only my eye looking down the peep was in focus

It's hard cause I've been doin it with one eye closed for so long now I'm tryin to refocus but I'll get it down. I really didn't think about the difference it would make before but I see it now

I shoot with both eyes I learned by aiming with one then opening the other while aiming. It requires alot of opening and closing from your off eye until you can get use to the picture of focusing one eye on sights and the other on target.

It is going to take time but once you get it down it becomes natural and then it will be the only way you can shoot anything.
