I have a bunch of damaged arrows and id like to cut the cost by repairing them myself. the most common problem with them are just damaged fletchings.

So my question is what will i need to buy to repair the fletchings?
(I think my dad has one of those things that holds it steady when the glue is drying but im not sure)

A fletching jig, some fletchings, some glue or tape depending on the fletchings you choose. You will also need something to scrape the old fletchings off with and something to clean the shaft (de-natured alcohol or acetone) with after removing old glue.

You could use a product like quick fletch and similar products. Havent used them myself but they are getting good reviews on this site.

Depending on how involved you want to get in it, NAP makes the QuickFletches that heat shrink a pre-fletched wrap on to your shaft. If you're in it for the long haul and want to be able to play around with different fletchings but aren't going to be doing dozens of arrows a year then a Jo-Jan single jig may be the way to go. If you're going to do dozens of arrows a year then upgrading to the Jo-Jan multi-fletcher or a Bitzenberger may be worth the investment.

I just bought the Bohning blazer helical jig from fsdiscountarchery.com for 35.99 the cheapest I found and was fletching in no time at all, very easy to do for a first timer with the other above mentioned tools needed for the job.
