Hey guys (and christine) My wife informed me that we are having wings for dinner and I need to figure out a good recipe. I typically just use famous dave's or louisianna or something. She doesnt like too hot of stuff so i'll probably do two recipes.

Thats what I do for mine too. Also fry the wings first just to crisp them, and then bake them in the sauce in the oven at 350 to finish them off

That's how I do mine as well. Except I have not ever put in honey. I will defiantly add that little touch next time I make a batch up!!

I've always seasoned and bake them for an hour at 250 Til fully cooked. Then drop them in a fryer and sauce to order. But this was also working at a bar and grill , would probably do it the same way at home.

The best... rub with "Seasonall' then cook them on the grill" (I prefer gas for chicken) until they are brown and crispy. Then dip with Ranch dressing, wing sauce, or BBQ sauce, whatever for each individual's taste. Then toss them back on the grill for 2 more minutes each side to caramelize the sauce. Serve additional sauce on the side for dipping.

Same here man just with a shot of whiskey in it, it's called JD Sauce! I think the honey would make a great change in flavor though.

Pre heat oven to 425. Place wings on a heavy cooking sheet with raised edges. I have this 40 year old heavy aluminum sheet I use. I usually cover it with heavy duty aluminum foil to make clean up easy. Douse /coat wings with Sesame Oil, then do the same with hotsauce. I prefer the Crystal Louisana hot sauce. I can’t buy it locally here so order 12 bottles at a time on line. Not the super hot… just the regular I’ve tried others and they’re not the same. Place in preheated oven for about 25 minutes. Douse again with seasame oil(that’s the secret ingredient that really adds taste} and hot sauce. Turn and do the reverse side with the hotsauce and bake for another 15 or 20 minutes. They generally take 45 min to an hour. When you can stick the big part of a wing with a fork and it’s tender…. They’re done. Serve with Kens Chunky Blue Cheese dressing.

Franks red hot on fried wings, add butter to mellow the heat as needed.

We also do teriyaki/ponzu style wings. Marinate 4-8hrs the wings in a mix or soy+water/citrus +oil+a bit of brown sugar + garlic +ginger. Bake on a foil lined pan (seems like its ~400 for 45 or so minutes, flip after about 25 minutes).

That's what I like too... Only I'm more of a mild guy so mine are more like 1/2 Franks 1/2 butter....

I made some honey bbq a few weeks ago... I used Sweet Baby Rays sauce and then mixed in honey.... They turned out pretty good...
