It might be from my days snowboarding, but I usually wear a normal baseball style hat (I typically use my Gray Wolf Wolfskin hat), and then put a beanie over the top. For the last year, I used my BH.com fleece beanie in predator. Works great, keeps the sun out of your eyes, and plus you can pull the fleece off and still have a baseball hat on when hiking in/out and sweating.
I wear a goretex cabelas baseball cap with a beanie over top it. Or a fleece balaclava with a beanie over top that.
I had to get all the way to the last post before i found mention of the the Dukes hat...ill hopefully be wearing one in the woods this year!
