I bought a micro-adjust sight for my second bow and makes noise like crazy. Most likely since I can't get anything tight enough...everything wobbles.

Anyway does anyone have suggestions for a sight that it quiet and durable? Is Spot Hogg the best? Should I stay away from micro adjust?

I got a hogg-it hunter and it is awesome and bullet proof. the right on is cheaper and would be a great choice also. I would get it wrapped though

What kind of sight are you having troubles with? Have you checked that all the screws are tightened down? I've used 1/2 dozen different micro-adjust sights and never had one that made noise which wasn't easily fixed with a set of allen keys.

IF you're looking for a new sight and want something that's rock solid check out the Armortech HD line. Or the Spot Hogg sights are very nice as well.

GABowhunter and Justin are right, Armortech is the way to go as far as tough. It's also the toughest on your wallet.

I have a G5 rock that I like a lot. It's micro adjust, tough and pretty cheap.

What sight is it that is making noise?

Trophy Ridge Micro Hitman 7. It is wobbling and I phoned customer service and we just can't get it snug. The micro adjust is also very sloppy. The glow-ring around the sight window also fell off after some light drizzle rain last night. This sight is about 1-2 months old.

Interesting. I'll be sure to get a different one other than that for my backup then. Wonder if anyone else has had the issue.

    "Trophy Ridge"... There's your problem.

    :D

I know, I know... I'll have 15 people jump on me about how their Trophy Ridges are the best thing since sliced bread.

    Mine wasn't. ;)

Get yourself an Axcel or Spot Hogg.

I'm a Spot Hogg guy myself. They're pricey, but an investment worth making as it'll last you a long time.

Nerver had a problem with my Truglo. If you have the money I would look at getting a Armor Tech or a Spot Hogg.

I had a Trophy Ridge on my bow at first, and it sucked as well. The whole sight housing cracked completely. I won't be buying a Trophy Ridge sight again. I have a 3 pin Viper sight, and I really like it. Clean, simple, and durable. The $40 price tag was nice too :D
