Anyone know the ballpark price of a #4 cam for an elite impulse 31? I have a brand new one with tags still on it I can buy for $500 but the top cam was bent.. Regardless I think I'm going to snatch it up seeing that the retail price is $1000 and I'd gladly pay for a new cam and still get a deal on it

So you can buy a new cam for $500 and retail is $1000? You can buy just about any new bow you want for $1000. Or am I missing something?

No I can buy the bow for $500 but the top cam is bent so I'd need to buy a new one but I cannot find a price for one anywhere online.

Oh ok. Thanks for clarifying that. I did a quick Google search and nothing came up. They might only sell cams to dealers. You'll probably have to check with a local shop to see what the cost is. Or you could try calling them.

Well thanks for looking, I'm gonna go to my local shop in the morning and see what they say.

Was it dry fired? If so check more than just the bent cam.

My opinion, I'd rather shell out the $1k and get a brand new bow than get a $500 bow and spend ~$200 on a new cam. Like Coop said, if the bow was dry fired might find more problems down the road. Spend the extra ~$300 and buy a new bow is what I'd do. I'm all for saving money and finding deals on bow hunting gear, but my bow is not something I skimp on.
