I shoot a 79# Hoyt Xtec and I need a new string. It actually has a new one on there with less than a 100 shots on it but I guess I snagged it on something cause I cut a few strands. Anyway, I did not like this string anyway, it was made by a local archery pro but I have always had peep rotating problems with his strings. I had a winners choice on it for 2 years and loved it but they run almost $60. So being a little short on cash because of the holidays, I was looking at the Zebra strings for $35. What do you think?

Find some cash and go winners choice or Zebra Strings?

I personally can't stand zebras. I use Bucknasty strings.

Back when I used a peep sight I always went with a 2 string peep without an aligner. I shot the Zebra's and never had a problem with rotation......IMHO Zebra all the way.

I put a Zebra on my old PSE around 5-6 years ago and never had Peep rotation issues until my loop slipped. After retying a loop she ligned back up. If money is an issue get the Zebra.

well, after looking at holiday funds, I've decided to let my pro shop guy make me another. He's setting it back up for $16. In January I'm going to pick up a winners choice string, a knotless loop, and probably a portable bowpress. At that time I will have a spare string if needed since I am hunting 3 hours from home and a bow press to get the job done.
