Sorry if this should be in the equipment review section but I thought i would get more feedback here...

My rest just went to hell on me today while I was shooting but I have been looking for an excuse for a new one anyway ;)

A couple rests I am considering are the NAP Apache and the Quad Ultra (not sure which model though?)

    Any thoughts would be appreciated...thx!

my buddy just got the nap apache. he really likes it and it has gotten great reviews. i just purchased the trophy taker version of the apache. i have not shot it yet, but i had the old trophy taker and it was awesome for me. all machined aluminum very durable. i would recommend either. im not sure if the apache is aluminum or plastic though.

I shoot the Ultra Quad Pro HD right now and have been super pleased with it.

I do wan't to try a new rest next year and it will either be the N.A.P. Scizzor or Trophy Taker. Trophy taker covers the entire containment arm with rubber rather than foam adhesive.

QAD Ultra Hunter. Been very pleased. I'd also look at the RipCord Rest. I almost bought it rather than the QAD.

    Thx for the feedback fellas...

I think i'm leaning towards the Apache over the Quad Ultra Pro...they both seem to be great rests...but the Apache costs less than half as much! Seems like a no brainer...

I just put the QAD Ultra Pro on my bow last week and I have to say that I'm very pleased. I had no problems putting it on and I have noticed improvements (noise, speed, accuracy, and wear on arrows) over my old rest (WB). I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs this season but my initial review is that the QAD Ultra Pro is a great rest.

I just looked over every rest made and decided to go back with the muzzy drop zone. I had one on a bow a few years ago an loved it, Shot a rip cord and really like it also. My last bow or two has had the limbdriver. I was walking through bass pro, saw the muzzy and was telling the wife how much I liked it before, she says why would you pay over $100 for something you want to try, when you can pay the $50 they have it for and get something you like and will work.

Long post I know, but I went back a few steps and found the one I prefer.

Also want to add, that I believe rests are kind of like bows in the fact they really do not make a bad one anymore, it is just all about what you prefer...good luck with your choice.

    Thx for all the replies

I decided to go with the Apache and had it installed on my bow at Scheels this morning. They even paper tuned it for me...pretty good service. I shot it in their range and really liked it.

The Quad is an awesome rest but so is the Apache and it costs less than half the price...pretty easy decision for me.

    Later guys
