I can't comment on either model, but the Scott releases are very good. I have had a few Tru-Fire's and wasn't impressed with any of them. I switched to a Scott Rhino XT this season and absolutely loved it. Great release.

I've tried Scott and true fire and if you shoot with a D loop you can't beat the Tru fire hardcore

After trying numerous releases (including Turfire) I landed on Scott. Never shot with a Scott dual caliper release, but my Scott single caliper release, the Mongoose, is awesome... smooth, fits like a glove, and it's never failed. For me it's perfect!

I switched from a Trufire to a Scott Exxus. It's not cheap but I couldn't be happier. It'll take a lot to get me to use anything else.

I have the Scott Shark Dual Caliper release and have zero complaints. It's adjustable and comfortable.

I have a couple try fire releases and one Scott release I've had for years. I don't know what model Scott release I have but I think it's one of the cheaper ones. For the last 2 years I've been shooting a tru fire hardcore. I really like the single calliper and how you can move the trigger and flip it up towards your wrist keeping your hand free when your not shooting.

Can't go wrong with Scott releases, shot with a little goose for years and recently switched to a mongoose xt. The shark is great I just prefer a single caliper when using a d loop.
