I hit a dog in a small town of Philadelphia Il tonight on my way home from work.

I went back and could not find the dog on either side of the road or on any access roads.

I hit him running 55 and didn't see him till it was to late. I really hope he is okay or passed quickly with no pain.
I hope this is not a young kids pet or someones only dog.
It looked like a yellow lab or huskie. This was at 1030 tonight.

    Thanks a bunch

Sorry to hear that. I hate those things. I have a soft spot for dogs for some reason

    Jake,
As much as you feel saddened, if the owner had been a bit more responsible, you'd not have hit their animal. Things happen, and life goes on. Be thankful you didn't swerve to miss this dog, and end up injured as a result of an irresponsible owner.

the only reason it hits home with me so bad is cuz I have to Weimaraners and I WOULD BE HEART BROKEN to find one on the road. But no ones house lights were on and no one was out looking for him. But like I said Im hoping some little kid isn't going to wake up and want to know where kujoe is
