I am shooting a PSE Sinister at roughly 63 lbs right now. 27.5" draw, and carbon express blue streak select 350s. I have been shooting 100gr field tips and broadheads on them for a while. I was just curious for those of you who have been doing this much longer than me if that would be a good grain weight to stick with? I have not had any issues with arrow flight and am dead on shooting with them. Just curious. Thanks ya'll.

100 gr. is pretty much the new "standard" head choice weight. 15 years ago(roughly) I would say the standard was more like 125 gr. In this day and age of extensively engineered bows capable of extreme efficiency and higher speeds, 100gr. heads are sufficient for most any medium sized game (elk and smaller). If you want to increase your kinetic energy or correct an ill-weighted arrow, heavier heads can be something to consider. Being the technician that I am I would say, why fix what isn't broken?

Thank you much. Just wanted an opinion from someone who's been into archery longer than me.

Personally I would shoot 125's, you have more then enough spine at your spec. The added weight up front will give you increased FOC and more down range performance...hopefully equating in penetration.
