Hi all, I am planning on doing a Nebraska mule deer hunt this year and am wondering if anyone on here has done it before.. If you can offer any advice or tips that would be great. Really haven't hunted anything outside of Iowa with the exception of rabbits in Wisco.. lol
I'm hunting there in September for the first time. Luckily, I have some friends that live there. Are you looking to go guided or unguided?
I hunted them last year! It's an awesome experience, and I can't wait to go back this year. If you want, I can hook you up with the guide I use, he's awesome.
Going unguided. Haven't looked into guides but I'm assuming I wont be able to afford one.. while I am in college anyway
Look up rolling 7 ranch Co. On facebook, the guys name is Print. He has so many deer there it's unreal. I can also forward an email if you'd like
If you are looking at a good either species hunt give Cory Peterson with Hidden Valley Outfitters a call. The cool thing about a NE deer hunt is you can shoot a whitey or mulie with your tag and HVO is located in Arnold where they have a good population of both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It depends what style of hunt you want to do. Best bet would be to contact him and he can shoot you some prices.
Lots of public land that holds deer and pronghorn in the western part of the state. Deer tags are good for mule deer or whitetail.
