As a bison myself, I was starting to get nervous. We are known for rolling teams in the 4th but that wasn't the case today. Was a heck of a game. A true championship game between the two section champs.
My 4th year we made it to the quarterfinals of the D1AA playoffs. Lost to Northern Iowa by 3 after getting down by 28 pts. Was a ton of fun.
Illinois State was a 4th quarter team all season - just couldn't quite get it done on Saturday. A good season in any event. ISU's coach said all year that he thought they were a season away from contending for the national championship, so hopefully next year we will be back again!
