Of course overall harvest rates will go down when more hunters are practicing QDM (do we still call it that?) and states are winding down the number of doe tags issued. That will not only increase herd numbers but also continue to provide more opportunities to shoot bigger mature deer. I didn't see anything in that article that jumped out at me as a negative.
