The final score doesn't tell the story of the game, unfortunately. Hawaii's defense actually played pretty decent. And you're right, the cute play calls are too predictable and haven't been effective. They play much better when they play hard nose, run the ball, and hit them with an option play every once in a while to pick up a big throw. Miller is a complete WR though, the dude blocks and does everything he's supposed to. Bell and Conley looked good.
That's classic! lol... For suddenly being such a casual fan, I'm impressed that you got at least half of the equation right. I think Urban Meyer made it completely clear -who the best coach in the country is, when he put his foot in Saban's arse with his 3rd string quarterback, then did the same to Oregon and won another NC with a team that "should've never been in the playoffs". NEXT!!...
Also in the news: Bret Bielema! Should we start the SEC chants now, or hold off for a minute?? Talk about KARMA!!!
Sometimes I think guys blur the line between liking your team and hating another conference entirely... Like when you talk smack about a team predicted to finish 4th or 5th in their division (not even their conference, their division) for losing a game as if that is a knock on the conference as a whole. LOL The most important news of the entire night is the upset my kitty cats pulled on ole Head Ball Coach down in South Carolina. Wish I could have listened to Spurriers press conference. Florida is next for our 3-0 start. I'm also predicting an Ole Miss upset of Bama next week.
That's not what Josh was going for with that reply. Most guys who follow a B1G team inherently dislike Brett already because he is a class A *******. Couple that with him just a couple days ago talking crap about tOSU's schedule, about how easy their conference schedule is and how his is to tough. Then he loses to a MAC school. I have long disliked Brett more than any other coach by a long shot.
All of these hog fans I work with are in shock this morning. It's funny because the idiot (Bert) is always on our local news talking noise about his and that. He doesn't have much to say now.
I've always thought the guy was an idiot for leaving Wisconsin and going to a team in the same division as LSU, Auburn, and Bama who are annually in the top 10-15. Not sure how he thought that was a step up, especially since Wisconsin is a bigger program than Arkansas in the first place.
I think it was about $. More for both him and his assistant coaches if I remember correctly. Of course this won't do him much good after he get's fired.
