I'm sorry for wishing our society was more intelligent and mature. I'm sorry for being offended by people acting foolish, being lazy and not contributing to our society in a positive way. I'm sorry for hoping people would work to lift themselves up from difficult situations and make themselves better people. I guess I'm most sorry for believing in the good of humanity.

When I talk about a subject, sometimes I'm talking about the larger picture just as much as I am about one specific action, so I do care how much people disrespect others, and how people do not have any manners or cooth these days.

Yeah, If you can't get the final right, your not going to win a bracket. Looks like a Badgers fan will win it this year.

Wichita State was the first team last year to ever go 35 - 0, how much was that talked about this year?

Kentucky was the first team to ever go 38 - 0, how much will that be talked about next year?

Neither team played quality teams throughout the year and in the end a better team from a better league won.

I have nothing against the 2013-2014 Wichita State team or the 2014-2015 Kentucky team, I thought they were good teams, but history will never remember them as "great" teams.

Excuse me for seeing the larger issues in our society that play out in some dumb punk thug that spoke out of line on a hot mic.

Kentucky has 8-10 NBA pros on their squad currently. They were 12-0 against Tourney teams if I remember correctly (3-0 against sweet 16 teams). Everyone raved about the strength of the Big 12 and they beat the Big 12 Champ by 31 points lol. They were the first power conference team to go undefeated into the tourney since 1976.

To even compare the two teams as equal shows how little you know about the sport of basketball. It's okay to not like Kentucky and rejoice that they choked. I get that. It is almost embarrassing to try and talk them down as an average team that went untested. It'd be like me commenting on Nascar.

The ironic part is how well spoken and mannered this kid is. Respects his parents, raised the right way for the most part. The stereotype that using a cuss word makes you a thug is the funny part to me.

I agree he shouldn't have said it, and he didn't intend to in public. He was venting under his breath to himself.

I think they were hot heads in AAU basketball in high school on the court, but that hasn't carried over into their Kentucky careers from what I can tell. I was worried about them coming in out of HS based on all the internet rumors, but it hasn't held true. Very typical American structured family with support from family. They are well spoken in public. Help with philanthropy events in Lexington. Work extremely hard. Never get into trouble drinking, fighting, etc. The narrative that they are bad kids is a fabricated one the best I can tell.

On the topic of tonights game, who does everyone have? Duke or Wisconsin?

I'll be cheering as loud as possible for the Badgers. They have a couple of guys who are hard to dislike on their team and played extremely well the last 2-3 games. Hope they can pull it out.

Over a sport? No. I'm already counting down the days for next season. It's meant to be fun.

Just pointing out how terrible your take was really. That's all.

The thug was Hookers words, not mine. I actually had a lot of respect for all the Kentucky players as they were able to put their own ego's aside for the betterment of the team. I really don't care how they talk to each other, it just irks me that this will be swept under the rug as not a big deal because it's socially acceptable for black people to act and talk that way, as if we don't think they can act any better. I guess I'm just tired of hearing excuses from people trying to defend portions of our society that choose to act foolishly.

I'm pulling for Wisconsin, even though a Duke win would give me the win in the bracket. I just really like how they play the game.

I don't want to poke a bees nest but I hope Duke loses, I don't care for Duke at all.
