Anybody watch lacrosse? What a great couple games yesterday.. WOW! Duke hung on against Cornells late surge. Rob Panell is just ridiculously good. Actually glad Syracuse doesn't have to deal with him in the Championship game Monday. The Syracuse vs. Denver game was even better to watch. What a great comeback. 2 goals in the last minute to make it to the championship. That team is just refuses to lose and plays until the last second. They were getting handled all game until the last half of the 4th quarter. Good stuff. If they don't find a way to win more face offs and get some more ground balls, Duke will crush them. Should be a good game though! GO CUSE... DUCK FUKE!
I really didn't want to do the Dukie thing.... BUT.... they came back and kicked some serious butt. Go Duke. It was a great game. In the beginning it looked like Syracuse would romp... and then Duke turned it on. I'm a happy Duke fan tonight. National champs once more.
It helps when you get 20 more possessions on offense lol. I've never seen a worse faceoff (or ground balls for that matter) performance in my life than what Syracuse displayed. Give credit to Fowler from Duke.. he is good. But, WOW that was pathetic on Syracuse end. Hell I think I could have suited back up and won one.
i am my teams FOGO ( for those who dont play lacrosse it is face off get off, the sole purpose is to win the face and get possession for your team) it is one of my favorite things ever. i really hope to get a full ride to college on my faceoffs. i work everyday and this past season i had an 76% success rate. granted this is eight grade lacrosse and highschool will get much tougher. enough about me now but those games were really good! i was so happy when duke won.
