It sure bumps up what a prospective employer will have to offer to get him. 5.5 million would make him the 5th highest paid coach.
I wonder what she thinks of the 11 million dollars that Under Armour is paying UW for their apparel deal or the $8 bottles of water and Hot dogs at the stadium.
In her mind as long as that stadium is filled she probably doesn't give a rats behind what happens on the field. She is likely way more concerned about diversity or the student global warming task force. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fisher was coming and had agreed. Miles and the players knew it too, hence why the players carried him off the field after the A&M game. Our Governor killed the deal at the last second due to "public perception". Les had a $18 mil buyout last season, and the Gov didn't think it would sit well with the state if Les was paid to leave while at the same time, LSU was laying off professors due to budgetary issues. The $18 mil buyout would have all been private money though, and everyone knew that, but politicians gonna politic.
I can see that. One of the most poverty stricken states in the country paying a coach 18 million dollars to leave and the new guy 7 million.
The salary wasn't the issue, it was the buyout. But like I said, the buyout was all private money. The buyout is less than $10 mil this year.
Charleston Southern players say 30-plus teammates suspended for FSU game - CBSSports.com A game that was already going to get out of hand.... NCAA is a joke.
It wouldn't be a bad hire. UM have grass or turf? That comes into consideration when hiring him. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
