Wis has been relatively successful for the majority of these kids lives. OSU vs Wis the last 11 years 6-5. OSU vs Mich the last 11 years, 9-2
Yeah you figure Wisconsin football took off with the Rose Bowl win in 1993. That's almost 20 years ago now . I don't think we are going away anytime soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Actually I believe your cheating coach and players took the entire season away from themselves. So Wisconsin had nothing to do with it.
Spin it however you want. Once the clock hit 00:00 Wisconsin was the only team that outscored them that season.
There is no spin Ohio cheated, coach lied and they forfeited all their games. Where is the spin? You cannot almost have a perfect season when it did not happen.
The kids did not cheat, they broke some rules. The coach was not honest. You guys did however cheat with Rich Rod and over practicing. The kids did not have an advantage on the field from their actions, your team did however with over practicing the kids past NCAA guidelines.
Playing players who are ineligible to play is an advantage. "The coach was not honest" Now there is some spin Yes we practice 15 mins over twice, you got us and it really helped.
"Incentives" for players to attend a university is WAY more of an advantage than a few extra minutes of practice. Just look at the SEC. You can buy heisman trophy winners and national championships. Would you rather have great talent and less practice, or sucky players and more practice? Cheating is cheating, but like I tell my son, "lying only makes it worse". I think he's been reading Tress' book.
Buckeye I love jabbing back and fourth with you on football. It's just fun. I agree you were a bit more condescending
Those were not university given incentives... That can (and I am sure does) happen to some extent at every university. I agree lying always makes it worse... Well except for this time, Urban came home
Only a buckeye would think being embarrassed is a good thing Treasel cost these current players a shot at a special season.
I know the university wasn't giving them, but the players were told (by current players) when being recruited about the "benefits" of being an OSU football player. That, and the fact that the university knew it was happening and did nothing. Happens all over the country. Never surprises me when someone gets caught. If anything, I'm more surprised by those that get away with it.
Bucky broke into the shoe and stole stuff? http://www.10tv.com/content/section.../2012/11/13/osu-stadium-theft.xml&cmpid=share
Florida has the toughest schedule in the country and is 9-1, 3-1 against teams currently in the Top 10 of the BCS. Yes, we should lave lost to ULL. We rule.
