Sorry guys, I am here. let the hatin begin. Million Dollar band at the Carolina game last year...Jeff ya'll had us on the ropes all night and should have won by 17...I do not like pre-season #1, but man does our offense really look good. We have some incoming studs on D as well as Hightower comning back. he was our other All American linebacker that we did not get to see last year after his knee went. ROLL TIDE, Penn State at home for week 2, and then Florida at home for week 5. I really just want to play for the SEC title, anything else beyond that is a bonus, you only win rings every few years...Rammer Jammer Yella Hammer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With McElroy throwing for 360 yards and 6 TDs in Bama's scrimmage over the weekend, I'd be worried about the secondary. :poke:

    Yeah yeah :throw:

OSU can beat the U, the U does not play teams with defense.

If OSU plays their game and TP plays some what smart, they have a very good chance.

OSU was handed that game on one of the worst officiating calls ever.
    I don’t like Miami or OSU, I’m just saying….

While I disagree with your thoughts, it was a judgement call that the ref made. The U should not have been in that position against the Buckeyes anyhow. That call did not lose the game for the U, their poor execution against a team without as much talent throughout the contest lost the game.

With OSU #2 and Miami #13 in the preseason polls and Miami having to travel to Ohio, I seriously doubt Miami will be favored to win that game. Not saying Miami can't win, just saying the line will be in OSU's favor.

    Pre season polls mean diddle:deer:

Miami has a better offense IMO. Their QB is better than TP at this point in the game. He's a better decsion make IMO and a way better thrower.

OSU has a better defense and IMO Tressel is a better coach. If OSU can play good defense and TP plays well, they should win the game.

    TP is easy to rattle:poke:

I just don't see Miami competing with OSU. OSU by 2 TD's.

I do not disagree with any of this, fact remains that there are preseason polls, AND they are used and consulted. Therefore I would be shocked if OSU wasn't favored by AT LEAST 3, if not 7 when they play the U.

Penn State is going to have a mediocre season at best. Their recruiting class seems to get a little weaker each year. I'll still watch, and really, in the end, regardless of the outcome, nothing beats fall weather and college football.

Oh I can definitely see how Miami can compete with OSU.

    Faster defense and better QB/WRs.

I thought those northern schools were so mentally tough that they could endure all elements?

Cancel practice because temps are in the 90s?

    LOL
