We happen to have a winning record against SEC:beer:
    20-5-1

Not bad for a slow big ten school:wave:

    Football should be played outdoors.

I miss Seeing Lloyd Carr on the sideline.

I would bet anything UM would have been playing in big bowls the past two years if he was still around.

Rich Rod benches Ryan Mallet... He transfers out to the SEC and lights up their league. Yeah, Rich Rod is awesome....

Well, yeah I guess I kinda agree as well, but I don't like weather affecting the outcome of games. I like the teams to be on even playing fields. Let the more talented team win, not the more acclimated team.

He never benched Mallet, he never even talked to him. Mallet knew he was not a fit and left. I wish the kid nothing but success.

How about Dorsey, Jackson, or Bowe? Do you claim any of them? I'll make a claim for Dorsey. To the outside fan who only looks at statistics he doesn't show much but he is far better than an average DE. Jackson is terrible and Bowe needs to show up big time this year to salvage the Chiefs picking him in the 1st round.

Or they could simulate each game.

Weather and/or home field advantages are part of the fun.

    Really what is the difference?

A good coach makes a game plan to his athletes strengths.... Not come in with a blind eye to the world and upend one of the most celebrated, tradition rich and eltie programs in the country.

Rich Rod is a poor excuse for a football coach, and obviously piss poor at honoring contracts and following NCAA regulations.

He has not only given UM a black eye but WV and the Big Ten as well.

I bet Michigan would be in a lot better shape with both of the Boren boys (both start for the bucks) and Mallet behind center. Cannot be deined. Rich Rod did not do what was best for UM, he acted selfishly and egotistical by not putting the best players on the field and used clouded vision dreaming he could repeate his success from the Big East in the Big Ten.

Doesn't the heat affect the outcome? Don't you have to be acclimated to the heat for stamina? Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

Dorsey isn't a 3-4 DT, it's not his fault the Chiefs changed DC a year after he was drafted. Plus, he was never the same after he got injured his senior year.

The Chiefs were just dumb drafting Tyson Jackson that early. Any LSU fan would have told you that he was way overrated.

And Bowe has been y'all's only WR that past couple of years, so I'm not sure what complaining about there.

    Oh yeah, I agree

But it's usually the Big 10 schools saying things like "Florida would never be able to beat Michigan in Ann Arbor in November!!", not SEC schools

I have never agreed with you more, Buckeye. Don't forget Manningham and Arrington left early because of Rod coming in too. With Mallet, Manningham, Arrington, and Mathews, they could have had one of the best (if not the best) passing attacks in the country. No need to rebuild. Coach what you got now, recruit for what you want in the future. I agree that great coaches can adjust to the talent they have. Rod was gift wrapped a highly talented offense, and he blew it.

I never liked the hire. I thought the whole process in which they got him was BS too. It showed a lot about his character, and UM's arrogance.

Hey now, "never" is kind of a stretch.

Well, maybe not. It might be too cold for Florida players to leave their hotel rooms.

Well the facts are the difference:moose: Mallet left before the ink was dry on RR contract, RR never even had the chance. As he stated he would have fit the system to Matt's strengths.

Do you know who has more NCAA violations then any other school in the Big Ten per year? It's not Michigan;)

Did you know Michigan had issues in 2005-2009 season, two years before RR came to town with the forms and the atheltic department?

Like I said there has been a witch hunt for RR, it's funny after RR left WV they still kept up with the "violations". Under coach Stewart.

    We beat Florida in Florida:poke:

All I stated was I want to see these SEC teams head North to play in the cold. I want to see that blazing SEC speed.
