Least LSU and Georgia Tech didn't get hit to hard from the NCAA.

Not so sure Oregon and UNC will be as lucky.... Or Auburn if the NCAA ever catches up with them.

I'm not sold on Chizik either.

He won't a national title in a weak year in the SEC and college football as a whole. To me, is he still unproven.

Same players, Kelly makes them a good team his first year out of the gate.... They could contend for a BCS game this year.

    Kelly>Weiss>Some random high school waterboy>Hoke.

The only reason the NCAA isn't crucifying Auburn is the FBI won't let them yet, the feds have to finish their investigations before they will let the NCAA in the door and have access to the documents.

The chips are falling into place... The Ohio State University will avoid any large sanctions such as bowl bans and major scholarship reductions... Just like I said all along.

    Suck it up skunkbears!

Where are all you guys who were calling me a homer for not believing that tOSU would get hit with big sanctions? You see I read the NOA that the NCAA sent to Ohio state and I based my opinions on what was contained within that letter.

I think some of you guys let your dislike of Ohio State dictate your thoughts on possible sanctions rather than what was on the NOA. You know living life looking through blueberry and pee colored glasses.....

Things could always change if something new is uncovered... But at this time the possibility of minor scholarship deductions is really the only threat.

I went went to high school and played with Luke.... it might take a little time (or it might not), but if Urban Meyer decides to pass on the job next season, and Luke gets a shot to take the helm permanently ... well, you'll see

Oh, I didn't know you went to HS with him. This changes everything. I think the conversation was about unproven coaches, but I didn't know you played with him back in the 90s. By all means, I retract my statement. He's gonna be an awesome coach!!!

I said it too, buckeye, OSU would get a slap on the wrist. I'm not sure they even got that. Maybe a stern stare.

Off topic a bit, but for the people who appreciate a rugged a-whippin linebacker....have you seen Manti Te’o play for Notre Dame? Man, I love watching that guy play some football. He is getting better each year and I just bet he is a 1st/early 2nd round draft pick. Stud.

He is good, but (homerism at it's finest) have you guys watched donta hightower for Bama...260 lbs and he goes sideline to sideline, and when he gets there he has bad intentions.

back on track, Bama is replacing 4 first round picks and the loss of their national championship (although he won't break any records) quarterback. Richardson should fill in for ingram, and we have 2 (if you believe the hype) studs waiting behind him in Lacy and Hart. We are proven in most areas, the "D" grew alot as we were very young last year, but if you look at the numbers they still dominated most of the time. My biggest concern all the way back to page 1 or 2 is QB...you need a good one to win, and we have 2 all everything guys in highschool, but now they got to try to beat each other out and get it done in the big time.

We are supposedly gonna be the preseason #2, losing what we did, how can that be anything other than hype...
