"Penn State 4-1 odds the coach dies this year" LOL

It will be interesting to see what the Huskers do this year, if we have a stable quarterback look out. Our defense should be solid, the offense should be better than what it was. Huskers win the Legends, with the Hawkeyes taking a beat down the day after Thanksgiving. Sorry IA Bow

Well we have been talking football long enough that you know what I should say...However all the people riding BAMA really scare me. We have a new quarterback (Early word out of T town is AJ Mccarron will start but Phillip Simms has IMPRESSED), and sent 3 guys in the 1st round of the draft.

One good thing is our defense was VERY young last year, and with Hightower and Barron leading the way we had a year to grow. Losing a 24 pt lead to AuBARN showed the youth movement. I really hope we have a great year, but you guys know how hard it is to win a NC. I will be there several more times this year so we will see what happens. We go to Penn State this year as part of that home and home deal, and hopefully that turns out well.

I could ramble on and on about BAMA all day...so to actually answer the question I think.........

tOSU is still loaded and regardless of personall sanctions as long as the NCAA leaves them alone (unlike BAMA all those years ago) they will be fine. Still no one to really push them just yet, although it seams Germ is really high on Hoke, and he is usually pretty good at keeping it real when Michigan is concerned.

I am not sure about the big 12, or whatever they are now. The talk is oklahoma is back on the scene, and Texas may be slowing down.

I am from Georgia, so I hear all the dawg chatter as usual, but Herschal is still retired so, well you know same ol same ol there...

I can get better into this as more guys chime in and i can bounce answers off them...still waiting for Hooker and Phillip to chime in with their trash.:tu: They both love BAMA, so i am waiting for their replies.

I think the big 10 may be a pretty good race. Nebraska is a great team that has played great competition. However, wisconsin and iowa are always tough but lost a good bit in the draft. OSU may do some damage but let's be realistic, they've been chaos off season.
Germ, I'm sorry, but Denard is one of the most over-rated players in all of NCAA football. You'll be hard pressed to beat MSU this year.

Alabama got a ton of talent in recruiting, but in order to make the big game, you have to click from game 1. Florida made steady headway at the end of last season.
Florida state lost their qb. Not sure they'll be able to recover from that.

Looking out west, I look for it to be much of the same as years past. Texas will hopefully get out of their slump. Oregon I think has a great chance of making to the big show.

All I know is that I can't wait to make some money.

Florida will lose 2-3 games but still represent the East in Atlanta, probably lose that game though. Florida has the talent to be a very, very good team this year. They have had a lot of transfers and Janoris Jenkins getting kicked off, but there are still a lot of very good players on this team. It wouldn't surprise if they don't win 10 games.

I do no think Denard was over hyped last year at all.... The kid put up phenomenal numbers.

I do not think he will put up number this year that rival last years due to the change in offensive systems... He was a very good spread QB.

I am not sold on him as a drop back pocket passer yet. I am not saying he can't do it well, I am just taking the wait and see approach.

I also find it odd you mention tOSU's off the field problems in one breath, then speak of the Ducks going all the way in the next. Oregon's problems will dwarf tOSU's.

Iowa will be better than people think. They have a good o line and back field. Vandenberg(Spelling?) wont be that bad and we should have a decent defense. That being said Iowa will pprolly go 8-4 or 9-3 this year. And the only thing that'll be red on Nebraska will be there eyes from crying and there butt, from us spanking them. :nana: We'll beat em.

Badgers will make it two in a row over OSU. Buckeye, we never did get our wager going last year. We will need to revisit before the game this year.

Honestly do not know what to expect from the badgers this year.

If you call doing something no QB has done before as over hype, I won't argue.

I don't really care how the Irish end up in the W/L columns as long as they stop blowing games on play calling. It's seriously affecting my health.
