Who's already thinking about it? Plan of attack?
I'm trying to, but funding is getting in the way...which also might be changing soon... :D

I haven't seen any turkeys in this state since I got here. I went home (MN) for a couple days, and saw one sittin on a snow bank. Very randomly. lol.

Lol. I know. I only look where I can see.

Lately It hasn't been very far, because it is somewhat dark on the way into work, and dark when I get out... Not very easy.

I've never seen that many in one place at the same time... THat is pretty cool. lol.

Seriously though, Are you gonna do it again this year? I know we talked about it, and you said you wouldn't do it again, or was that just with a compound?
You mind as well, you still haven't completed your "Report Card" . lol.

Hell, If I don't, that would be the most incomplete card of the year. Not even "F's" on it! Just nothing! lol.

Yeah MNKK I can't wait for the nc turkey season to start. I have a couple places I am going to hunt in lee county this year. Talk about seeing some turkeys I saw five jakes last saturday and two hens try to cross the road in front of my car today. I am wanting to get a ground blind and either some magnus bullheads or gobbler guillotines and start test shooting em.

I have a Spitfire MAXX that I shot into the dirt this year (I was hunting some really big earthworms... ;) ) I will probably use that, since the blades are a little duller than the rest of my other ones. I did sharpen them, but let's be honest, NO ONE can get them factory sharp again. lol.

That or I was going to give the Rocket Turkey Tom-O-Hawk's a try. They are a modified version of the Buck Blaster heads that are pure perfection (when matched to the proper setup!)
I don't think I need those quite yet, but depending on a certain offer on the table, I may be a little busy in the future... SO I may not need anything, cuz I won't have time. lol.

I have a love/hate relationship with bowhunting turkeys. I'm obviously not that good at it....lol (I haven't drawn back on one in two years). And, it's not likely I'll ever shoot another compound at an animal.

I think what I said was.....IF I'm ever lucky enough to take one with my recurve, I may just quit. I don't think there's anything I could do (hunting-wise) to top it.

Likely a non-issue....but I'll keep at it....................or just go to KS and get it over with.:D

Isn't that what it is all about? It's a challenge.

Hell, I couldn't connect on one with a shotgun last spring! Hows that?! lol.
But I think you should do it. Just don't quit hunting, if you do get one. Just find another animal to hunt... Like ... a .... Mouse? IDK. Something faster, and smaller? What about Pheasant?! I saw that on Arrow Affliction! lol. OR I could take you back to MN, and you could hunt there! Bigger deer? IDK.
