HUNTING l The archery season segment in the Western deer season has been extended approximately three weeksfor antlered deer only. Refer to page 47 for additional information. l Waterfowl and webless migratory game bird season dates and bag limits have been setand are printed in this Digest. Refer to page 60 for season dates and bag limits. l All big game harvests must be reported either by phone at 800-446-8663, online at ncwildlife.org, or at a participating Wildlife Service Agent location.The Commission no longer offers big game harvest reporting through Wildlife Cooperator Agents using the paper record sheets. Refer to page 58 for moreinformation on reporting big game harvests. YOUTH l The youth age requirement has been raised to allow those ages 16 and 17 to participate in youth huntingand fishing opportunities. Previously, participation was limited to youth under the age of 16. Those ages16 and 17 must be properly licensed when hunting, fishing, or trapping.

They also didn't mention in the summary of opening up Sunday hunting...that's a big deal to a lot of folks.
3rd season is antlered only. I guess they are looking for post rut recruitment...? I'm looking at you neck of the words for second (archery) season as deer season overlapped with bear.
