Would any of you guys be willing to send me a copy of the hunting and fishing regs for the state?
    PM me if you would.

    I'm looking for something specific.
What are the regs on being a disabled vet?
I found what I was looking for, but your regs are a little more confusing to me than MN's...
A little help from someone that understands them a bit more???
This is what it says...I just don't know how your regs work. Its confusing to me.
DIsabled vets (50% or more, get free hunting licenses? Yes or No?

Disabled Veteran Hunting and Inland Fishing (basic): Statewide hunting and inland fishing for residents
who are 50 percent or more disabled veterans as determined by the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. Includes fishing in
designated Public Mountain TroutWaters, fishing in trout waters on game lands, and fishing in joint waters. It
does not include fishing in coastal waters. Refer to page 11 for application instructions.
Additional Privilege Licenses and Certification Available:
Big Game Hunting: Needed to hunt deer, bear, wild boar and wild turkey.
Game Lands: Needed to hunt or trap on game lands.
Waterfowl Hunting: Needed to hunt waterfowl.
HIP Certification (federal requirement): Needed to hunt migratory game birds (waterfowl, doves, rails,
    gallinule, snipe and woodcock).

I tell you what. If what I read (above) means what I think it does, I am no longer considering anything. I'll be there as soon as I can be.

    Edited...Question in bold.

Holy crap...I just read that you guys can hunt Swans..Do/Have any of you tried this? Why? Yes, there would be a nice amount of meat, but really? Thats just a bit odd from my POV.

Wow, Jeff, I didn't realize it was that cheap in NC. It's not like we're getting raked over the coals here in PA, but between my hunting license and fishing license/trout stamp, I have over 4 times that much invested.
