Hey neighbor. Are you hunting Willow Springs area?
I have been looking for a place near Willow Springs area, At the moment I am hunting in a club in Lee county, its about 45 min from the house. What part of Willow Spring are you from?
I technically live in Raleigh. But close by 50/42 highway intersection.
Hey NC hunters! I am making my first trip to North Carolina and I would love to bow hunt while I'm there. Can anyone tell me what I should do to see if I can get a tag? Also, does anyone know hunting areas outside Wilmington? Any help would be appreciated.
Start with Http://www.Ncwildlife.org for regs, license purchase info and check the where to hunt section if you want to hunt public.
Out of state hunting license are $80 and the Big Game Permit is $80 as well.
Which hunt club? Is it F.L. Knight by chance?
It's getting closer...cool Temps in the mornings are feeling good. (Then it gets hot as hell in the afternoon)
Yeah shooting the bow after work is getting a little better. Monday everything was wrapped in condensation before I got near the target. Come on high of 60s.
Today was rather nice throughout.
No i'm in Lick Creek Hunting Club.
I bought my NC Sportsman Package Hunting/Fishing//Big Game License/Permit a few days ago and I noticed the price jumped from $40 to $50. Crazy!!! I am sure that are thousands of hunters that do this. Look at the monies they are making from such a huge jump in price.
I was putting up a new stand today and got ate up with baby ticks! Come on cold weather!!!!!!
Do you use Permethrin on your clothes and gear?
Yeah just about all the license costs went up this year. Fortunately last years license is still good for a year from purchase...over the years this has stretched me out to almost October
Like he said...Buy some Sawyers or permethrin concentrate and mix it...one application lasts about 6 weeks...you'll never regret that purchase.
I took down the stand in the back yard, packed it with the sticks, ready to go...left the hook in the tree 20' up...smh
Yeah I know. I always renew mine right before hunting season. Check your Big Game permit. If I am not mistaken, they normally expire in June. I just want you to be sure. Good Hunting this year bro.
