Anyone ever heard of people taking these gators down by Wilmington? Can you hunt (bow, gun, whatever) them down there? Just curious...
No clue, but we do have a 3D aligator target at my club and I have to say... it's my favorite to shoot without a doubt.:D
You can try if you want to, but its illegal!! The people take it real serious down here too, friend of mine took a photo with a dead one in the marsh and left it there but posted the photos on his website and they called and interrogated him on the phone for quite a while. You can go to SC and do it though.
I don't want to if it is illegal. I want to though. I was just checking, because I didn't see it in the regs book. Thought I might have missed it. I do want some gator though... I'm on this new thing to see how many different things I can get my wife to try. (hence one of my past threads) lol. She liked duck and squirrel. That's all I've gotten so far though. I'm working on wild turkey. She thought I meant the alcohol though. lol...
You will have to head over to SC or GA for that....GA you are looking at 3-4 years to realistically draw your tag as well. For gauranteed tags head down to FLA and fork over the dough. I'm on year 3 in GA and we have right at a 50% chance this year of drawing.
Yep, if ya need help draggin the thing if you do hunt one in SC let me know, we can work out a trade for a few of them gator nuggests
