Completely agree that its a joke. At least the hornets would have got something out of this. Now, they get absolutely nothing when he leaves at the end of the season. How did that work for the cavs? I really don't understand the logic that it's better if Paul stays with New Orleans. An owner looking to buy the team isn't going to realize that Chris Paul is long gone after this year and NOT playing there anyway? There has to be more to this. If not, its one of the stupidest things I've ever heard of.
It looks now like Sterns and the owners will have to recant and let the deal go through or face a lawsuit they couldn't possibly win. I can't believe they tried to do this after just going through the lockout which they won. EVERYONE is pointing fingers at Sterns and owners today.
