    Nice work, Skip.

I think we are starting to see a dynasty curse from you. Like the Madden cover curse. If Siman predicts a dynasty, your team is sure to lose.

I think his performance speaks for itself.... The guy is just such a phenomonal athlete, and has skills that are just above the level of nearly everyone else on the floor. From his passing, to his defense, to his transition game, to him being in the right place so often to get rebounds, the guy has a very special skillset that no other player that has ever played before has had....

I'm going to take this opportunity to point out that I agree with something OHB said.

I agree LBJ is a freak of nature seemingly created to be perfectly suited to dominate this game....but I'm not ready to say he has something no one else before has had. Magic Johnson possesses all the same qualities you list off for LBJ being unique...And I'm sure some of the even older guys did as well such as the big O.

I get what you're saying, but LeBron is definitely a better athlete than Magic was in his prime. Yes Magic was a good enough athlete to play point at 6'9", but it was his basketball IQ that allowed him to play point, not his athleticism. LeBron is bigger/stronger/faster than Magic ever was. Magic was also not a good on the ball defender, while LeBron is one of the league's best in a much more athletic era.

    Trevor,
LeBron has something that none I've ever seen play had in his athleticism, and his ability to move to the ball, with the ball, draw in defenders and pass the ball, and then move to the other end of the court and defend the ball as well. Not Magic, nor MJ ever had the whole culmination of these skills at any point in their career, but they did have it MENTALLY, which is where I think LeBron has lacked it....

Watching him dismantle Boston in the first half of that game that turned the tide in Boston, showed me that he "may" now have it mentally too, and if that's the case, "Look OUT NBA, because the KING really has arrived!!!" From what I've watched the last few weeks, it would appear that may be the case, and if that team picks up a guy who can play in the middle, they'll be unstoppable. Bosh just can't play the inside position, and every other option they have is old or broken, or both...

The only thing missing with Lebron was his maturity level and approach to the game. Both seemed to change in these playoffs. He now knows he is as good as he is. Look out NBA if he keeps that up. The dude is a freak.

I agree... Was impressed when Chamlers started to point to the crowd towards the end of the 3rd quarter (or whenever) in game 5 and Lebron went over to him and told him - no, not yet....

He is amazing no doubt. I couldn't design a player better built for the game of basketball even if I was playing the XBox. I'm just willing to wait before I dub him the most gifted player of all time. MJ and Kobe still deserve that credit in my lifetime. Magic, the Big O, and Wilt likely all deserve mentioning from before my day.

Lebron is (and has been for a few years now) the most gifted player on the planet.....still too early to determine the ever part.

The most gifted player ever is already a lock, but we are a long way from knowing if he is the greateat to ever play.

Too bad he had to switch jerseys to win a championship. True champions do not need to do that.

Did you see the sucky players Cleveland had him playing with? Come on Michael would not have won 6 rings on that team!
