I shot a boar early Sat on my way in, just as the sun was rising. I figured I'd come back after I hunted deer, big mistake. When I came back 3 hours later, it was nothing but bones. Between either coyotes or other boars, buzzards, & bugs, they made quick work. God has a pretty effective circle of life working.

I made a rookie mistake & let a buck circle in behind me, won't let that happen again when I go back out during rut in 2 weeks. I am beginning to enjoy this spot & stalk thing, I still suck at it, but enjoying it.
