Native Texan, stationed in Colorado and deployed to Afghanistan.

Hello from ***-crack-istan. Been shooting for years but have only done so consistently for the last couple. I brought my bow (Bear Method) with me on this deployment and get to shoot it quite a bit here. I'm and Army EOD tech (18 years in) and have a great family (Wife and three kids 25,23&9). Since I'm getting more serious about archery and plan on doing a lot more hunting with it, I figured that I would get on here and soak up some of the forum members' collective knowledge.

Hey ray I am also a soldier. I am a cav scout. I am stationed in fort Riley though. I just got back from a deployment in Africa. I just got into bow hunting a few years a go via a fellow soldier taking mw on a hunt Haha. I was hooked. Your so lucky you got to bring your bow with you though. Stay safe over there.
