Colt comes back after halftime and leads one the greatest comebacks ever with an injured throwing shoulder....

    What's gonna be interesting........

TX needs to come back. TX offensive coordinators are afraid to do anything except hand off; run screens; etc...

    That's a big conflict.

I wish he wasn't hurt (McCoy). I don't have a dog in the fight. I just wish we could see the "best" from both of them.

I would rather lose by 100 points than play scared and lose by 20 points. They have to open up and risk it all on nearly every other possession. I would bunch up those Texas receivers on the wide side of the field and work to get Shipley and the other studs open, or at least get them on single coverage with a safety. Let it all hang out is the only way.

    Don't get me wrong.....

It isn't like Colt could stop the tide offense.

Here is the only guy that could step in and make it happen for the Longhorns at QB...

That freshman is showing some serious guts and poise well beyond his years.

my hats off to the texas team, they really played hard and their back up QB did pretty good considering the circumstances. i'm glad bama won though
wahoohunter was 1 point off on the prediction, if only the extra point was made

First off ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!! Rammer Jammer Yeller hammer give em hell Alabama...Thank the good lord Tiffin's 12 years at Alabama are over. I have watched him become the all time leader in points, kicks etc...but I have also watched him be as un clutch as any kicker in the history of big time college football (with the exception of those FSU wide right guys). Texas stepped up, but we also played scared for awhile and what the hell was the up guy doing getting in the way of that line drive kickoff???

I am going to miss Mclain...hopefully my falcons grab him up. Nah, he will be gone before we ever pick. Boys, I have waited since 92 to celebrate again. The tide are competitive again and that is all that matters. Saban was pissed they dumped gatorade before the clock ran out...gotta love him.

It was a shame to see McCoy go down so early, but even if he had played Texas wouldn't have been able to stop Ingram and is equally talented back up Richardson.

I would have like to see the Bama defense tested by McCoy rather than the frosh, but hey, it didn't happen and that's all there is to it.

    congrats to bama!

I know alot of people are going to talk about Mcoy and what could have been...(not you wahoo) but I have never been in the business of moral victories, just victories. If you would have told me we get to play them and their whole offense got suspended and the defense missed the plane, I would say that is perfect. We almost lost ingram for the rest of the game due to cramps...if they would have pulled off the comeback and he would not have returned their would be no excuse from Texas either.

Yeah, it really was. Completely handicapped Texas.

I felt sorry for those guys. Play hard all season to make it to the MNC, and then their best player and leader is out before the game ever really begins, and is then replaced by a true freshman playing his first real minutes. Gilbert played his heart out too. Bama's defense was just too much for him.

Not trying to take anything away from Bama, but this game would have been much different with McCoy playing the entire game.
