For all you hunters out there looking for a fixed blade broadhead that flies true, than you have to check out the New Archery Products Thunderhead Edge. Please keep in mind you must always have a good bow set-up, to get good arrow flight. I'm also shooting NAP's Apache rest, stabilizer, and Quickfletch vanes out of my Mathews bow. It's one sweet set up! Give these products a try!

Those things look sick. I love the serrated blade.

I wish they made these in 125 grain. I think next year I will look at setting up my arrows with a brass insert and then use these heads.

I'm with you Brad, if they made these in 125 grain I would have bought some, instead I went with the Hellrazors.

I went on NAP's website and sent them a suggestion to consider making these in 125 grain. Perhaps for next year they will make it in different weights.

What do you guys do about the blades falling out?

I found that practicing with a target, whenever the BH would start coming a little screwed the blades would start falling out and if your wanting to change tips, you couldn't just unscrew the Thunderhead and put it aside without all the blades falling out.
Just didn't give me a lot of confidence in hunting with them. Don't know, maybe I was doing something wrong.

I may have to venture on over to their site and shoot them the same message.

try useing a little ivory unscented bar soap on the threads. it will keep them from unscrewing so easily

I know when I have issues with my field points coming loose I'll put bow string wax on the threads and screw it back into the arrow. It works well for that, I imagine it'd work on your situation too.

Andrew, the Thunderhead Edge is different than the original Thunderhead, as far as the blades go. Each of the Edge blades is held on by screws, so they can't fall out if the broadhead comes loose.

Also, if you look close at the pic I attached at the beginning of the post, you can see the 2 screws on the bottom side.

I used the thunderhead edge this year and took a nice 12 point buck. It was arough the tht 30 yards and quartering to me. i went through the shoulder and got one lung he went about 70 yards and dropped. I would say they did their job!
