I'm not sure if this has been posted on here before or not, but I'd like to hear what anybody that has experience with these vanes has to say. I really want to try these vanes but the website states that you're NOT suppose to use a helical in these and it's recommended for straight/slight offset. I want to know how well these stabilize BH's and anything else you have to offer. And if it helps I'm looking at the 4in version.

I used the Bone Collector Series, and they work well. little pricey mine cost me 24.00 for 6. If you do some math, you come up with If I use these more than two times per arrow, I am in the cost range of replacing an arrow.

As far as installation they were great, and seem to hold up well. I used the 2.5 inch though, and a QAD Drop Rest. No interferance with the rest and held up well until I devaned two while shooting due to a good grouping. Don't know if they would hit on a shoot through rest?

They are easy and flight for me has been great. They don't seem to be as durable as regular wraps and blazers but they work well. I have had several crack on my pass thru on a deer and stuck in the ground. The good is my deer is dead and they fly great but with stock blazers I have been able to shoot up to 3 deer with the same arrow. I have had one or two not get destroyed with the pass thru. Overall I like them just a tad pricey.

Obviously they are more expensive than regular fletching but the convenience of them is great. They are all I use now. Greatest thing since sliced bread. I am using the Bohning Shrink-Fletch because they use the original blazer vanes.

I love mine. I've been shooting them 3 or 4 years now. I fletch individual vanes yet set at about 2 degrees in a straight clamp. I love them on my Maxima Hunter shafts. I shoot muzzy 3 blade and NAP 3 blade thunderheads and they fly like darts once the bow is tuned for shooting BH's. They are noisier in flight I think, sound more like a feather flying compared to a straight vane, but they work as advertised. I shoot them through a drop away rest too. Don't know about a shoot through rest.

Haha I shoot the same BH's and a drop-away as well. I just may get some and try it on a couple arrows to see if they stabilize better than the helical

They are a good vane. They pretty much do what they advertise to do. The only down side I have to say about them is they are heavy. If your bow is tuned any fletching will do the job, but I haven't found anything that works better than 4 or 5 inch feathers fletched with a hard helical that will stabilize an arrow any faster. I personally use 2.5 or 3 inch feathers fletched with a helical on the back end of my fixed blades. I did use the 2" quick spins in past years and liked them pretty well, I was just not a fan of adding all that additional weight to the back end of my arrow. I do not think you will be disappointed with them.
