I just got a call from the shop and I cant use 4" veins with this rest. :bash:

Anyone use this and how does it actually work?
I recall someone at the get together had this and it would fit
    my hoyt.

    Thanks

There's some slow-motion footage near the beginning of this rest in action that I think you'll like. As for it fitting on your bow, I don't see any reason it wouldn't. I've honestly never seen/heard of any rest not fitting on a particular bow, unless you're shooting something so old that I dont' remember when it came out. :D

Hysells archery up here stated he did not have anything I could put on my 99 Hoyt Magnatec because of the long
    overdraw on it.

Damn it all the reviews are not good for this rest in hunting situations.

I will decide in about a hour to have my arrow reveined with 2" or back to the prong style rest.

So what's the deal, your vanes are touching the rest when the bow is not drawn I'm guessing? Check your PMs by the way!

Alright just shot with the new rest and new blazers on and I love it. The noise I thought would be there does not exsist.
It seems the arros are flatter and shooting much faster but could be because I couldnt shoot for a few days.
    Thanks JZ.

Now that I have been to the range and shot more I looked down my arrow and can see easily that
the vane is hitting the handle riser. With the rest it states cock vane must be up or you can
    damage the rest. GRRRRR

so what now? can you cock in even enough to get clearance and still have the cock vane up just not straight up?
I have hand to the that in the past when shooting larger diameter arrows.

I was looking at the bow today with it pointing at me and the arrow is on a angle and not centered on that shelf.
I could actually move that rest to the left a lot but not sure if it would be centered.
One of my goals this year was to learn more technology speaking and I am finding the less I know the better
off I am. Here I am with 5 weeks before season and a complete mess now.
I dont understand how my shop can mess me up like this. Things are happening this year with it that
have never happened before. I have another shop I am going to finally try but its about 24 miles away.

From what I can see in those photos, it looks like that rest is way too close to the riser which is obviously why you're having problems. Take it to another shop and have them check the center shot on it. Who knows, maybe you got some part-time newb who didn't know what he was doing when he set it up!

    Ditto.

I saw your post in the main bowhunting forum and came over to see what you were talking about. I agree with JZ; from that pic alone, it looks like your centershot is WAY off. I can clearly see the trough in the shelf to the left of the string.

    Tony,
I think Hoyt recommends center shot at 1/8" inch outside the string.
Like Greg and Justin said try moving the rest to the left and your
    clearance issues might be eliminated.
