Anybody using this? I saw an ad for them in Bowhunting Mag and decided to buy some today. Liked the all arange version, should make it a little easier to see?
I've put some on a couple of my crossbolts to try and so far I like em.They're easy to put on. Only time will tell how good they really are.
I've used them a little. They fly just fine and last about the same as regular arrow wraps, however when i was putting mine on they didnt always fit smoothly around the arrow. It looked as if there were some air bubles not to the fletchings, but they werent air bubble and they didnt affect the flight. I think they will work just fine for you and i love bright colored wraps, orange looks sweet too.
We take them to have at camp incase something happens. Easy to use and fast. My son is using 2 now. The only thing we noticed was the wrap has cracked all the way around the arrow at the top of the fletching after they got cold (25 F). Will check back to let you know if it affects flight or not.
I put 2 on my girlfriends arrows that she rips. They work great. I've noticed little air bubbles under the one, but like everyone else said, they don't seem to affect flight. I got the Quikspin ones and I can't tell if they spin any faster or not. She says they drop faster than regular fletched arrows, but from what I have seen they fly the same and group the same.
I used these for a long time. They do fly great and are an easy quick fixed. However, almost all of the quickfletch vanes that I have put on have eventually started sliding up the arrow or rotating. I would say you usually get about 200 shots out of them before then start doing this. They are also quite expensive when compared to fletching your own arrows. Personally I wouldn't recommend them.
