I know I just bought these arrows but, I am ready to set up a new set. Its fun playing around with these set ups. I know I said I am going to do the pink but, I think I may do an all black arrow with orange QF's

I have been using the shrink type fletching for several years and I think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. My setup had a different outcome though. I am shooting a Bowtech Captain set at 65# with Carbon Express Maxima 350s that are 27.5" long. I found that with broadheads (slick-tricks) the quick-spins caused my arrows to group 4" right and 4" low at 20yds. The Twister version, I couldn't even shoot. The arrows were almost hitting sideways in the target and flying all over the place. I went back to the factory fletched blazers I had and found that my arrows, with broadheads, began grouping with my fieldpoints again. This year Bohning came out with just the plain Blazers on Shrink-Fletch. I tried those and the problems were eliminated. I might add that when shooting just fp with any of the above mentioned fletching, except the twisters, no problems seemed to manifest itself, it was only with the broadheads. Thanks for taking the time to do this review. I'm sure many guys will benefit from it.

    Blessings......Pastorjim

I could see how that could happen. How fast is your bow shooting? Mine did great with NAP Thunderhead Razors. That was out of my old bow at 285fps.

I'm at 275fps. I still can't figure out why the Twisters were flying so bad. At least the quick-spins grouped but man those Twisters were alll over the place. I'll be switching over to G5 Montecs next season.

I would like to try this set up just to play around with it and see if I can figure it out. May never be able to but, I would like to try it.

Was your bow paper tuned?? They could have really showed the tuning was off if it was. Please don't think I am saying you don't know how to tune or didn't have it tuned. Just wondering.

I am pleased with my quickfletchs so far. I had another reason for going to them. I wanted to increase my arrow weight, and so that I can retain FOC I can use a 125 head.

I have shot both the NAP Quick spins and the bohning Blazer quikfletch. I noticed that the Quickspin veind would start to crack and the viens would start falluing off after a couple shots. Could be due to my wisker bicket however the bohning quikfletches held up MUCH longer. anyone else notice this?
