Anybody ever shot anything with a Nitron? I picked up a pack and they are real nice and sharp. They're a small head but DANG do they fly terrific! They hit dead nuts with my field tip- first broad head I've been able to get to do this. I'm really thinking about shooting them this fall. I have arrows tipped with Rage practice heads, field tips, and now these Nitrons- might use both this fall!

The Nitron's fly awesome. If you like them buy as many packs as you can find, they are no longer being made:(

They have also discontinued the Crossfire:( That leaves me having to find a new head soon:(

I've shot a plethora of deer with the Nitron for the last 4 seasons, never had a single problem with them. The blades are scary sharp and they fly like darts. But raceway is right, they have been discontinued. So if you want to shoot them, you better stock up now!

Used them since 06'.. GREAT head. Unbelievable accuracy.. and super sharp. Taken many deer with them over those years.. pass-thrus aplenty.

And Ben.. I already stocked-up.. and will probably snag a few more pckgs for some years to come.. or until I find a better head.:)

I think I'm gonna take your advice and buy as many as I can. I'm really impressed with them. I was a little unsure about them since they are so small, but after shooting them the last couple days, I decided to go with them.

I googled them also, didn't find a SINGLE bad review on them.

The size of the head is deceptive, and I'll admit it worried me a bit at first too. But it's not necessarily the length of the broadhead that matters, it's the cutting diameter. The Nitron is still poking a 1 1/8" hole which is on par with the majority of your fixed blade heads these days. The smaller blade profile really helps their overall flight characteristics and accuracy, which is why I love them.

Considering I went to a 125 grain head with my new setup, I may just be shooting Nitrons again come October.

I thought they were going out.....I just saw them in Wally World today. I am going back to stock my Duke stockpile, in like 5 years, they are going to double my money.

Apparently they are not discontinuing the 125 version.. so yeah for me.

Apparently it's a pretty popular crossbow head.

So.. it looks as though I'm all good.

    Viva La Nitron!
