Okay seriously, the year I decide to go up to 125gr. tips (on my new stiffer spined arrows) I fall in love with the design of a mechanical that isn't offered in 125! Does anyone know if the Killzone in 125 is even in the thought process over at NAP?

It is on the table, but probably won't be available until 2013.

If you're looking to add weight to the front of your arrow there's other ways to skin that cat. You can use brass inserts, which generally add about 30-40 grains depending on your arrow make/model. Or you can use the Gold Tip brass weights that screw into the back of your insert. That's what I'm doing. 2 x 10 grain weights on the back of my insert gives me that extra weight I want out of the 125 grain broadhead but allows me to shoot any 100 grain head I want. Which will just happen to be the Killzone for this fall. :tu:

Justin, I thought of that and actually was already planning on adding 10-20 grain inserts (the GT kind you described) on top of going up to 125 tips. I'm gonna calculate out what my FOC would be if I went with the 100grain tip and the inserts (perhaps bump to 30grs total)...it may not be too far off what I was going to get with 125gr tip + inserts (10-20grs).

You're actually the one that had me wanting to try the Hellrazor...but now after seeing the Killzone design and talking to some turkey hunters who used them this spring I'm very curious and willing to give them a shot <--Pun intended :)

Ty, I just did exactly what Justin recommended. I ordered the long allen wrench and a package of 20 grain weights that screw into the back of the insert. It works flawlessly for arrows that are already cut with inserts installed.

It was easy as pie. I will be getting a pack of killzones soon and they will technically be 125 grains. Best of all, with shipping it was only a little over $20 dollars. It is the hot ticket and I thank Justin very much for the info he passed on to me.

    Good luck!

I've got the inserts...only thing is I believe we got the 10 and the 15 grain. Would have much preferred the 20 or even heavier if I'd known I may be shooting a 100 grain tip. Oh well the Killzone has attracted me enough to force a decision by the end of tomorrow...as the season is simply getting closer and closer.

Can you screw your weights into each other individually? The 20 grain weights I have can be combined together to make whatever weight combo you want. You could add 20, 40, 60, etc.......

The price is not bad either like I mentioned. The weights and allen wrench together were just over 20 bucks. You wouldn't be out much money just to order the 20 grain weights that you want. Just some thoughts for you Ty. Hope you can make it work so that you can shoot the killzone this fall!

Oh we got 2 dozen of the 20 grain inserts and 2 dozen of the smaller (either 10 or 15 grain can't remember) and the allen wrench. So having them isn't an issue...and you're probably right if I want to shoot the Killzone I can still accomplish the same FOC pretty much by just stacking the weights.

On a side note did it take Gold Tip FOREVER to ship yours? I ordered mine and didn't receive them for like a month and a half...had to order direct though as pro shop didn't have any on hand.

It did take awhile Ty. Of the top of my head it was a little over 2 weeks. I never said anything, just patiently waited. Its almost worse than Christmas when you were a little kid waiting for new bow hunting toys to come in!

Eagle Archery has them. When I ordered mine it took 4 days to get them. :)

I think NAP hates heavy broadheads and lefties.

Not true. They make plenty of 125 grain heads. As for the lefty thing - doesn't everyone hate them?
