I thought I saw a thread on this before but I couldn't seem to find it. I'm looking at shooting this head for turkey/ next deer season and I'm wondering what are the benefits to the trophy tip vs the cut on contact tip, and vice versa. Does it make a difference? Thanks for the help.
I shot* the COC tip and it blew through a shoulder blade and very marginally bent it. Just cleaned it up. And replaced the tip blade and now it is back in my quiver. The blades were still razor sharp Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I'll be shooting the trophy tip this year. I shot a doe with the COC tip and it did fine but it was a good shot so either would of worked.
I haven't shot the trophy tip but I shoot the COC & they are deadly! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Killzone Maxx's I shot this season are COC and I have had pass through with all of them so far and they are great. Didnt't hit shoulder though. But I just picked up a pack of regualr 2" Killzones in Trophy Tip this weekend.
