I'm wanting to try these new fletching, I'm shooting Black Eagle Zombie Slayer arrows, how can I get the old fletchings off with out scaring up the arrow? I've tried one of the arrows & the bright yellow coating scrapes right off.

I've never used Black Eagle's crested arrows so I'm not sure to be honest. Although if you plan on putting a Quikfletch over the top of the crest it shouldn't matter if there's a few scratches - they will be covered up.

Try boiling the old fletchings. might loosen the glue so you can get an edge and peel them right off.

I don't believe it's recommended to heat shafts that much.
