I'm wanting to try these new fletching, I'm shooting Black Eagle Zombie Slayer arrows, how can I get the old fletchings off with out scaring up the arrow? I've tried one of the arrows & the bright yellow coating scrapes right off. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I've never used Black Eagle's crested arrows so I'm not sure to be honest. Although if you plan on putting a Quikfletch over the top of the crest it shouldn't matter if there's a few scratches - they will be covered up.
Try boiling the old fletchings. might loosen the glue so you can get an edge and peel them right off.
