I think this rest will even perform better shooting down from a treestand.Full capture drop away with no connections to bow to activate it I think is an awesome idea.I checked one out when I was at the factory and I could not get it to fail.Peakrut said he tried one last year and had problems tuning with it.I will post up a review when mine gets here.

Mech that may have been due to my older hoyt also and the shop never set one up before.
Looking back they may have not had the rest prongs back far enough. I am going to keep an eye on this post and see how it works out for you. Might put it on my limbsaver DZ32.

I'm also waiting on mine to show up, hopefully in the next week or so I should have it. This rest was formerly the Quiktune Flipper with some improvements now became the Freedom. As soon as I get it in place and run a few shots through, I'll be sure to post up a full review.

Yes JZ please do as I had heard they did do some improvements also on the Quiktune.
Do me a fav and let your string creep just a tad if you dont mind. I want to know if it the rest drops.
I know you dont want to creep at all but I am just curious.

I read some reviews on "gulp" AT:busted: Most seemed to say it worked well, while a couple guys says it didn't drop every time. But I would rather trust Justin and guys here who try it. My only concern is how in the heck can you adjust timing without a cord? Or what would make it drop too quickly/

OK I had the older model rest on my hoyt but had issue with vane clearence because of it being a older model....2000.
I would have to say that thing worked like a charm but if you had any creep at all it could drop forward
on you before you released. The new model from what I have been told will not do this. (I purposly let it creep because that was the knock on it at the time)
I am off friday so I will get the freedom setup and go do some shots and get back to you all.

It is recommended that the cock feather be up.
