Just got a pack in the mail and it's my first time using these. Are the rear deploying blades supposed to be kinda loose? I'm used to the Rage Hyperdermic where they lock in place when screwed into the arrow. It just seems like the blades might come open during flight without an oring or collar holding it in place.

I was wondering the same thing when I bought them. Justin's explanation answered all my questions too. You have to take your time when putting them in your quiver. I am excited about using them this year.

I shot a buck with one Saturday...piss poor shot on my part clipped the very back of one lung, right through liver, diaphragm and stomach, but the double cross made a great entrance and exit hole. I followed great blood trail all the way to the dead buck ~300 yards away.

Shot a doe with one yesterday. Had to stick her twice, as I spined her with the first. Left a ghastly hole on both shots. Very impressed with them.
